Why is it alright to not notice benefits from meditating right away? Is it okay if we are not in a very receptive state of mind to meditate and reap the benefits? I believe we have to ask ourselves these questions before we make our minds open to meditation.

Once we have learned how to meditate, there are many benefits of doing it. There are some who will say that the benefits are only felt right after we have meditated for 30 minutes, but that is not true. Anyone can meditate and reap benefits.
